Description
I wrote this song on a stormy day at work. The song is about losing somebody you care about, and how that kind of relationship parallels the changing of the seasons.
Lyrics
Verse 1 It seems to be cold outside As I stare out my window A reflection of my troubled mind As I watch you go I see your feet on the sidewalk Taking you away I know that this is my fault But this life I cannot save Chorus Just like the weather My life has turned to gray Just like the roaring winds You've blown yourself away My tears fall like raindrops On the cold and musty ground The lightning cracks The thunder cries I've never been so down Verse 2 Like a summer rain You brought peace to my life Now winter's back again And you've cast out all the light Once upon a spring time Our love bloomed like a rose Then the fall came whipping through And the world began to doze
