Little Girls

"Little Girls" was first a poem, nominated by the Library of Congress as "Best International Poem of 2003." I then turned it into a song for this cd. It's about the exploitation and degradation of little girls growing up, and how we teach them that their primary value is what they look like. We teach them how to hate themselves.
