Yungas Road

I recorded this solo 6 string guitar piece live at the Silver Creek Saloon in Fredericksburg Texas October 2008. It is a song I wrote about the Yungas Road located 56 km (35 miles) northeast of La Paz in the Yungas region of Bolivia. It is a 61 km road leading from La Paz to Coroico, It is considered by many to be the most dangerous road in the world where and estimated 100-300 travelers are killed yearly along the road. I found this extreme and interesting and apt for the title of this tune.
