Description
This is a bluesy standard recalling Frank Sinatra's "One For My Baby". As a piano bar entertainer myself, I have absolutely no difficulty in recreating the atmosphere of a bar late at night, the half-inebriated customer drowning his sorrows and the pianist in his lonely corner trying to bring some ambiance to the place. I've sung it to great acclaim on British TV and I never tire of singing it ... even of just hearing it. I think it's THAT good! Someone somewhere needs this song!!
Lyrics
1. Have another drink, Make it a whisky this time, Join another loner who's nearly lost his mind. Have another drink - It won't do you any harm. 2. Have another drink, Why not try a gin? Join another lover and share the mess he's in. Have another drink - It may help to keep you warm. Bridge. Three o'clock in the morning, The lights are all down low. Mr.Barman, don't be a drag, Don't say we have to go. 3. Have another drink, It really is a shame, Join another loser who couldn't play the game. Have another drink - It won't do you any harm. Bridge. Three o'clock in the morning, The lights are all down low. Mr.Barman, don't be a drag, Don't say we have to go. 4. Have another drink, It really is a shame, Join another loser who couldn't play the game. Have another drink, And please feel free - Don't you see? 'Cos this round is all on me.
