Hey Little Girl

Hey Little Girl; I wanted to write a song that would have the feel of the Beatles “I Saw Her Standing There”. So, I took the chord progression, which is basically C7,F7,G7,C7. and played it as G7,F,C,G7, in order to keep that Beatle groove. The song was written about a friend-of-mine’s sister-in-law. She had one too many wine coolers one evening, and started hitting on me. She was gorgeous and I could have fallen in love with her easily, but she was too young. Truly my loss.
