Description
"For Patrick" is a commentary about religious discrimination in America. Sgt. Patrick Stewart, who was killed in action in Afghanistan, was denied his basic rights when the V.A. refused to engrave the Pentacle, the sign of the Goddess of Love and of Stewart's faith Wicca, on his headstone in Arlington National Cemetery. His widow Roberta sued the V.A. and won. The Pentacle was placed on Patrick's gravestone and on the stones of other fallen soldiers denied the same right.
