Southern Sky We live below the southern sky and sit below the Norfolk pine Watching all our kids at play playing on the beach all day The waves are weaving on the sun surfers upon a crested wave Our life has become complete to have our own southern sky To sit and watch the setting sun the tide rolls in across the sand Sailors head their yachts to shore the day coming to an end Music does sound across the bay at night they all come out to play Our lives have become complete beneath our own southern sky As we walk soft across the sand we turn to watch the setting sun Thinking how the world should be knowing that our kids are free We live below the southern sky you can’t but love this lucky land Knowing we all have free will free to do just what we feel We take our kids and head for home they had their fun but want more How can we be so lucky to be in this wondrous land To feel as though you have it all this piece of land we call our own Our lives have become complete beneath our own southern sky Beneath our own southern sky.
