Description
I was fooling around with a huge honking guitar my father and I built in 1964, tuned to an open C. I can only play about three chords on that monster. That guitar was born during the Vietnam War, so I started thinking about all the guys sitting in foreign countries right now, all of them thinking about home. Imagined myself one of them and wound up writing this song.
