Someone very close to me (let's call him Jim) was very cruelly alienated from his beloved family, because of one person, and at no fault of his own. "Jim" tried everything to resolve the conflict which separated them, but to no avail. She had "gone cold,"and she wouldn't overcome her pride to have him back in her life. I am very closely attached to "Jim," and so I share in his pain by writing this song. - Mel Belfleur
