This song is about being stuck in the San Joaquin Valley in the middle of the summer. The heat sticks to you like a cobweb and the stench seeps into your brain until you go crazy. It represents the transition from waking up in the morning with a fresh outlook on life to screaming in frustration as the sun sets over the delta. "Come Down" represents many things from the end of a high to wanting to pull people down to your level to self-realization through depression.
