Lyrically, this song is about standing up for what you believe in, regardless of the consequences. A couple of us have been in the hardcore scene for years, and we always felt that the scene promised so much - integrity, courage, honor. This song is about living up to that standard, whether or not your friends are around to back you up. Instrumentally, this song is interesting because it was the first DEADIRON song, yet we keep coming back it for its Iron Maiden meets hardcore style.
