JOANPi

JOANPi was born in Athens, Greece. 

Since childhood with mother’s influence for art, specially music, self taught learnt keyboards+, started writing songs, took courses in Athens & London, returned to Greece to establish as an artist/songwriter.

2006/2007 JOANPi entered with her song ‘A Day at the Beach’ & got monthly winner status at Song of the Year, Honorable Mention Winner  Instrumental at 11th Annual Unisong International Song Contest, Semi-Final position at UK 2007 Songwriting Contest. 

She self-released an EP & a single via Tunecore, also a single as a free download, spotting on various online networks as IAC, GarageBand, myspace, Purevolume, ursession, Ourstage, Reverbnation. 
In 2009 JOANPi participated to Reverbnation Sponsored Songs Program with Microsoft Windows as the sponsor, with over 800 downloads for “Midnight” song, result: #1 Hot Greek Act, #74 Hot Electronic/Dance Chart on 10th August. Meanwhile on Reverbnation she reached #2 Hot Electronic/Dance Chart on 12th March2012.
