Adrian L. Boykin and Ernest J. Wilson; also known as the GoodGrandKidz have created a plethora of music that has been sculpted for everyone’s listening pleasure. The journey started at the age of eleven as Adrian’s nine year old brother judged their battles against one another. They were influenced by many artists such as A Tribe Called Quest, Mos Def, Common, and many others.

     In 2008 Adrian and E.J. left the city of Louisville, Texas and came to Chicago in pursuit of furthering their careers. After getting settled in Chicago they began to network with established producers and artists. They had a clear goal in mind; their goal was not to just make money, but to stand out as artists. To accomplish this they have created a sound that breaks barriers between many different genres. When asked to describe their music they reply confidently with one word; versatile. That versatility has helped spread their music with fans in Australia, Africa, Germany, and Asia. Their sound has only been picked up on by big names such as Def Jam Records, Common, and Mathew Santos.

     In  early 2012 they formed a team that will help push their careers to the next level. Currently they are in a developmental stage; experimenting with a new image for themselves and new genres of music, with high hopes for the year of 2013. The GoodGrandKidz have a series of things lined up to show the world. With a growing fan base and various opportunities arising with different paths for them to take; the GoodGrandKidz are ready to take the world by storm.
