May 22, 2012: Tr3́s: MTV, Música y Más, the bilingual/bicultural entertainment destination for Latinos in the US, announces the launch of its talent competition for aspiring Latino artists with Dame Un Break presented by Wendy's. Up-and-coming Latin music acts will battle it out on dameunbreak.tr3s.com, powered by OurStage.com for a shot at stardom. Aspiring artists can submit their auditions today through June 18th on dameunbreak.tr3s.com. The judging period for the finalists will run from July 2nd – July 16th and the winner will be announced in late July.

November 15, 2011:OurStage.com, a partner of MTV Networks, launches Songs of the Revolution, a series of live recordings that showcase the raw talent of buzz-worthy artists, touring through Boston, the historical hub of revolution.

Artists are invited into Moontower Studio in Somerville, MA to record a live session with OurStage Community Manager and Producer, Scott Janovitz. Audio recordings of the sessions are then made available for streaming and free download on OurStage.com.

February 14, 2011: Continuing its support of aspiring artists, Guitar Center (www.guitarcenter.com), the world's largest musical instrument retailer, today announced Brandon Green as the winner of Guitar Center's Your Next Record with Keith Urban. After an intense 8-week period of peer judging through OurStage.com, the top 100 unsigned artists from a group of over 6,000 submissions were chosen in a process designed to send one talented unsigned artist into the studio with Grammy Award-winner Keith Urban and producer Dann Huff. Urban hand-selected the winner with his creative team.

December 6, 2010: New Music Seminar Los Angeles announces the initial list of confirmed NMS players (speakers) and movement (session) topics for it's upcoming conference, set to take place at the NMS Revolution Hall, February 14th through 16th at the SHERATON Universal Hotel in Los Angeles.
