The MTV Video Music Awards is the hottest night in music. This year Comcast and MTV2 recognized local artists with a VMA of their own – The Best Breakout Philly Artist Award!
Over 150 artists entered and MTV selected the three nominees below from your top 20 ranked artists to open the VMA concert at Six Flags Great Adventure on August 28th and battle it out in front of an expert panel of judges including headlining acts All Time Low, The White Tie Affair and MTV’s Director of Music & Talent, Tuma Basa.
DaCav5 was named this year’s Best Breakout Philly Artist and was featured on MTV during the live VMAs locally on Comcast and will be showcased nationally on MTV2!

Featured Artist: Atlantic Avenue
