Frank Sirius was named this year’s Best Breakout DC Artist and was featured on MTV during the live VMAs locally on Comcast and will be showcased nationally on MTV2!
The Nominees

Featured Artist: Frank Sirius
With early success as part of DC’s premier group, Lissen, Frank Sirius is now enjoying a warm reception by both fans and critics as he embarks on a solo career. It’s no surprise considering Sirius’ unique R&B style of acoustic sounds and smooth vocals. He is a true stand out amongst his R&B counterparts.

Featured Artist: RAtheMC
RAtheMC is making waves as an upbeat rapper from DC. Juts listen to her fresh take on the classic “Hey Mickey” —the inspired, fast-paced “Nikki Boy” —and you’ll know why. Currently on the Next Generation Tour, RAtheMC is rocking the mic at venues across New York and her home of DC. If she keeps these infectious beats coming, she’s sure to headline coast to coast.

Featured Artist: 23RAINYDAYS
For a band that nearly gave up their music careers in 2004, 23RAINYDAYS is now making serious waves throughout their hometown of Washington, D.C. Their “Dark Pop Synth Rock” music is unlike anything on the airwaves currently, and they are proud of the way they can balance their Goth roots, with creative beats and even better lyrics.
