“Your Music Anytime, Anyplace” Songwriting Contest

Inspiration can happen anytime, anyplace and OurStage wants to make it easier for you to capture those ideas as they happen. That’s why Cakewalk is coming together with Intel to provide some of the best emerging OurStage artists with an ultimate mobile studio!

Judge in Rock | Urban for a chance to win an Intel Core i7 powered mobile studio of your own!

Starting September 23rd, artists are encouraged to submit their best original song into the “Your Music Anytime, Anyplace” Rock or Urban Contest Channels. Three winners from the final Top 20 rankings in each channel will be selected by a panel of leading producers and A&R executives. The 6 winning acts will each receive top of the line gear including an Intel Core i7-powered laptop, Cakewalk V-Studio 100, Sonar 8.5 and more!  Winners will be announced at the Winter NAMM show in Anaheim, CA on January 14, 2010.

1. Register for free and click the verification link in your email.
2. Click “Upload” on the top of your screen and follow the 4-step process.
3. Submit your best song into either the “Your Music Anytime, Anyplace” Rock or Urban Contest Channels by November 21st. For more info vist the OurStage FAQs.
4. Your song will be automatically entered into the “Your Music Anytime, Anyplace” Channel. Voting begins on November 1, 2009.
5. Invite your fans, family and friends to judge, so you can have your chance to win!
   

Two fans, one from each of the “Your Music Anytime, Anyplace” Songwriting Contest Channels will win a prize package valued at over $2,000 including an Intel Core i7-powered laptop, Cakewalk’s Music Creator 5 entry-level recording software and more! The fans will be selected based on top predictor status. Top predictors are fans whose musical judging tastes are the closest match to the final standings.
