David has written horror fiction under the pen name 'Victor Heck' since the late 90's. He is author of the novels A DARKNESS INBRED and BOOK OF LEGION, appeared in anthologies such as SEX CRIMES and DOWNWARD SPIRAL, and was editor for the critically-acclaimed ASYLUM ANTHOLOGY SERIES. His work has been nominated for the British Fantasy Award and the Bram Stoker Award, he was mentioned in multiple editions of both The Year's Best Fantasy and Horror and the Mammoth Book of New Horror, and he has been reviewed and interviewed both in print and on the radio in such places as Fangoria, Wicked Magazine, Dark Realms, Cemetery Dance and the Lou Gentile Show to name a few. In addition to being a novelist, editor, and making films, he is also a graphic designer, illustrator, has written PC game reviews, and many years ago was an extra in the HBO Pictures movie TRUMAN.
