About tyharwell
I'm Blessed
Hello everyone, thanks for making it this far into my little spot on OurStage.
I am 41 years old and have been doing this music thing for about 25 years.
I started with the 5 string banjo, and competed at a very young age in several bluegrass and banjo competitions.
Then I picked up the guitar. Although I love the banjo, the guitar is much easier to play, and you can write songs with it.
I went to Nashville several years ago and recorded an album "Going For Broke", The song "A Whole Lot Of Daddy In Me" was played on FM radio in the U.S and over seas. It was neat to hear myself sing on the radio, and see my name on Indy charts with The Dixie Chicks, and Garth Brooks, but I didn't get the checks they got.
I am a member of BMI, and have gotten checks from them, but they were very small, and everyone is a member of BMI now days.
Well I'm sorry I don't have a great "About Me" section, but if I did, then you would have already heard of me, and someone else would have told you.
