Born in Waco Texas, T Solo aka Tha Real American Dream was raised by his mother and grandmother. It takes a man to show a man how to be a man- but Solo’s father was not around. He had uncles and his step father for guidance and knowledge. Solo would tell you himself that he is not normal. He took the bits and pieces learned from elders and molded himself to lead and never follow. His grandmother kept God in his life because she knew he would need it. Solo is a man full of blessings. He appreciates everything he has and will never forget where he came from. Pecan Gardens Section 8 housing in Waco Texas is where he got his strong mentality through the teachings from the hustlers, gangstas, and other people around him. One thing Solo loved about where he came from was that everyone was different but had something to share. The problem was everyone was broke! So he gained the hustlers talk and gangstas knowledge to create a movement. He has a mind that never stops calculating. Enjoying yourself is always alright but most of the time T. Solo mind is kept on business. He has seen it all. He has been to college, tried the military and eventually got into the dope game. Money was his motivation. He tried signing with a record label that unfortunately tried to sabotage his operation. With money being his biggest motivator, he also became victim of the prison walls. He was introduced to legal slavery for 3 years. He was now right where his God wanted him to be. He was exiled to quietness and became focused. A blessing given to him so great he could not be denied. Time was all he needed because he endured adversity and came up with a plan. Union Cartel has arrived! Hip Hop has always been his therapy. Anything he can find to write a song about is going on paper. His music represents love, hate, struggles, his relationship with God, friends and family. The list goes on and on. He loves his life and "Don’t regret none of it". Solo has shared the stage with Slim Thug,Z-Ro,Rick Ross, Lil Wayne,Lil Flip,and Trae just to name a few. T. Solo also holds the number one requested song on 104.9 the beat in Austin, Texas. He also has been to half of the United States. He loves the East, West and up North for their contributions to hip hop. It’s been a long road and others who have endured the struggles of the industry have told him "You will make it". In his heart he feels the same.
