Transcend the Core is a threepiece, rock band from Brooklyn, New York who write heavy, urgent, alternative songs.

The band being active for less than a year's approach to music is pretty simple, write and believe in what you're playing. So along with a strong sense of their influences, and with their unique creativity and strong discpline at practice, they put together solid alternative songs.

Fronted by Carlos they rely on downtuned guitars, Erick's quick, melodic basslines and Armin's smart, energetic drumming to portray an interesting blend of hardcore and alternative.

Carlos' creative lyrics are inspired by such things as relationships, personal evolution and conspiracy. He writes about subjects poignant, empowering and of interest to him but pens them with his abstract, poetic stylings.

Apart from beings musicians, this threesome are also audio engineers, video editors, artists and photographers. As with good sound you'll always get an idea that TTC's visual media has an aesthetic aspect involved.

Influenced by bands such as Chevelle, ashes diVIDE, Nirvana and Tool, their sound is bold, creative and honest in its approach and direction.
