Perhaps the most unusual thing about The Story is that I wrote it in a bathroom. Yes, that’s a little odd but let me explain. In the fall of 2004 I bought a guitar, the first one I’d owned for months. Before moving to Tennessee God prompted me to give my only guitar to a Christian friend and brother in Colorado. That left me with a keyboard as my only instrument. My schedule being what it was, late evening was the best time to write and sing while the family slept.
