About Tip The Van
Formed in 2002, Tip The Van is a rockin' female fronted power-ska, pop, reggae, rock, anything-goes band from central Connecticut. Main influences include RX Bandits, Dance Hall Crashers, The Slackers, The Mad Caddies, Save Ferris, Less Than Jake, Reel Big Fish, and many more.
Tip The Van has been described as having a unique sound, tight hornlines, and an irrestistable dance groove. Tip The Van frequently plays hall shows, benefits, festivals, and large venues all over New England.
Joining up with the Vans Warped Tour in the summers of 2005 and 2006, Tip The Van found great success all over the east coast and into the Midwest. Tip The Van has played with many noteworthy bands including Less Than Jake, Reel Big Fish, RX Bandits, MU330, Big D and the Kids Table, MXPX, The Toasters, The Pietasters, The Slackers, Streelight Manifesto, Catch 22, The Voodoo Glowskulls, and Mustard Plug, as well as numerous local favorites.
