Tim Fielder - a unique point of view
Tim Fielder is not a classically trained musician, vocalist, or songwriter. He’s not accomplished. He doesn’t have a long musical resume’. And, he doesn’t have a list of awards he’s won.
What Tim Fielder is, however, is an artistic soul with a drive and a passion for creation and a search for the unique point of view that would go undiscovered unless he was able to capture and share it. Whether it is in his paintings, poems, stories, or songs, Tim searches for the vision or the situation that, when seen from his perspective, is revealed to others in a new light.
Tim has been writing since he could hold a pencil; but, it wasn’t until recent years that he began to focus on developing his own songwriting process to supplement his self-taught instrumental abilities. He delved into musical theory, trying to determine what was ear-appealing and what wasn’t and why. Through experimentation and trial and error, Tim has developed and improved as a musician and songwriter and is now ready to share his “unique point of view” with you.

Alternate version
So, I uploaded an alternate version of Butterfly the other day and I really can’t decide which version I like better. I continue to get suprisingly good comments about the original; but, though there hasn’t been much response yet, the new version is being well recieved I think. What to do? I need to make a choice I think and really get it nailed down vocally and remixed. And then move on to the next one.
I’ve learned so much this past month. As I said in the first blog, it has made me more of a perfectionist. I’m trying to iron out all the wrinkles and take my time. I’m just afraid you guys are gonna get sick of me before too much longer.
Give me your comments. Any and all comments are welcome.
