We are This World Around Us from St. Louis, MO. We joined together in February of 2006 instantly creating a fresh new sound and meshing several different genre styles together. A Striking Resemblance is; Zack Kelemen - Lead Vocalist and 21 years old, Tim Trojahn – Lead Vocalist and 20 years old, Nik Pogarcic – Guitar and 18 years old, Chris Marek – Guitar and 19 years old, Mike Uhle – Bass and 19 years old, and last but not least Justin Bess – Drums/Vocals and 18 years old. In the midst of the Saint Louis hardcore scene A Striking Resemblance is bringing a new melodic yet brutal sound to the Midwest, gaining new fans in every corning of the state no matter what genre they listen to. A Striking Resemblance has played with national acts such as; Emarosa, Blinded Black, Bringing Down Broadway, Red I Flight, Plea For Purging, Love Hate Hero, Morello, Gwen Stacy, Vanna, Once Nothing, and Life In Your Way. A Striking Resemblance has played shows all over the Midwest and is ready to break free throughout the World. We are ready to tour for the rest of our lives and are willing to put every ounce of our souls into our music and we hope that everyone can realize this. Between our technical sound, our intense live show, and our guttural yet melodic vocal tone, we bring something distinct and refreshing to the metal scene. If there would be something to add to the existing metal scene, it would be A Striking Resemblance and we definitely bring something new to music.
