About Stranger on the Rocks
- In June of 2007, four well established musicians were called upon separately to organize a fill for another cancelled booking at a college town establishment. The response of the crowd and musical connection felt between members was mind blowing. Since that night, John Bonnett, Jonny Southern, Doug Knight and Seth Morrell have transformed into Stranger on the Rocks.
- Stranger on the Rocks is a musical group that dedicates its shows with good times, high energy and great talent. It's members have shared the stage with artists such as Bob Weir and Ratdogg, Molly Hatchet, Kentucky Headhunters, Blackfoot, Little Feet, Jo Dee Messina, The Bullet Boys and Warrant. They are able to follow the stereotype of any genre they please and unable to choose only one. This versatile group insists on keeping the audience on their feet, jumping from blues, jazz, country, rock, bluegrass and soul. The vocal ability of all members to perform such different styles keeps all audience members begging for more.
- With every new head that is turned by this outfit, is a new fan. The American music scene is in need of a new addition. Stranger on the Rocks is a team with the drive and talent to make it happen.
