Born and raised in the Deep South, and the son of a preacher, music has always been in my life. I studied composition, guitar performance, and music production at colleges in Louisiana, Texas, and Tennessee. Since then I've played guitar professionally for nearly 20 years - in Nashville and for the Air Force. I am currently guitarist in the USAF Academy Band in Colorado Springs, where my family and I have put down roots.

WOW!!! GREAT MUSIC, you are an AWESOME player.
Nice to see someone from CO up there in the top 10's!!!
We play in Widefield on Aug. 15th for the concert series!!
If you're not gigging that evening bring the family and a picnic to Pi-Ute park, I think we start at 6pm!!!

OurStage is a different place

I’ve been wandering ‘round this site and found some interesting things. In the Guitar Solo contest I have heard some amazing players, and some that were not so technically mind-boggling yet very musical and tasteful (mind-boggling in other ways). The latter will frequently find themselves in high places here on OurStage – which says alot about the people who live here. I was also a bit surprised to see the overall winner from March was from the New Age/World category. In so many other places it’s alt-rock or hip-hop or pop. The tastes here are pretty eclectic and I dig that alot.
