About SpeakHerLanguage
Nate! Jon! Sean!
"Our Fun Bio"
With a musical vocabulary spanning genres and generations, Speak Her Language displays talent and maturity far beyond their years. And at the green age of 21, this band is poised to lead a new generation of rock music fans forward in their quest for a passionate and intelligent NEW sound. Few bands achieve such richness of sound as does Chicago's own Speak Her Language (and for a three-piece group, that's no small feat!). Former members of Chicago ska-band A Girl Named Craig, these guys experienced more in a couple years than many local bands do in their career. Radio stints on Q101's Cagematch and Mancow's Morning Madhouse, a number of successful Midwestern tours, and performances before thousands of loyal fans helped these guys realize the power that lay within them. Eventually A Girl Named Craig separated, as did its core members who found inspiration in new styles of music. But the bond had not faded and, one year later, the guys decided to regroup and form a new band with a new sound. A culmination of three sonic worlds colliding in the most musical way possible, this is the fresh sound of Speak Her Language.
