SLiM’s Style is based on hip hop roots, socially conscious what is consider underground. He has had air play on several college radio stations and has featured on some local mainstream stations as well.
Aside from radio he has also received recognition from the internet as an electrifying MC on the rise. SLiM has been a featured artist on sites such as Disdain.tv, Rapstation.com, LOUD.com(SemiFinalist), OURSTAGE.com(numerous top 10 honors), Big-Mike.net, Download.com(OVER 20,000 downloads) to name a few.
SLiM has become a well respected performer around the Boston area performing at venues like Harper’s Ferry, The Western Front, Kay’s Oasis, Mc Gann’s, The Middle East, Ecko Lounge. He has even shared the stage famed Lollapalooza with Jurassic 5, 2004 The Tweeter Center in Mansfield.
SLiM’s dedication is shown through his drive and hustle. He hit the streets and clubs daily pushing his independently released Demo album, which he released in mid November 2002. And has released over 20+ mixtapes in the Boston and surrounding areas over the past 5 years. Thanks to the support of Fans, barbershops, and mom and pop stores through out the New England area.
SLiM’s Future Aspirations are to help in the development of Roxbury through the education of children and adults alike. SLiM is a man who stands for the people and works to teach them knowledge to build themselves and the community. He has been inspired to give them tools rather than hope to succeed.

Wassup people!!! Ourstage is a great platform for the independent artist, you can experience talents of all music genres, film, comedy etc. You as an artist can take advantage of this dynamic site by exposing your trade to the masses, and even win and make sum cash. But I have noticed a flaw in this beautiful diamond in the ruff. It seems to me that the attention of the administration is focused on a selected few. How could this be? A site which claims dedication to the independent, for the fans by the fans, a democracy if you will. My craft (Hip Hop) seems like it gets the shaft, Hip Hop/rap channels hold the predominant number of entries through out, yet the recognition of the site shows no regard of this.
