Pyromatic
PYROMATIC began in 1998 with childhood friends Daniel Faulk, Waylon Hayes, and Bret Ward jamming to some of their favorite classic rock tunes.

In 1999 they took their talents out of the garage and onto the stage of their county fair talent competition. They won Best Group Performance with Summer of ’69 by Bryan Adams. They decided to enter again in 2000 performing an original song entitled Sour Dreams. Winning Best Group Performance for the second consecutive year and hearing the overwhelming response to their original tune inspired Daniel, Waylon, and Bret to pursue writing and performing their own material.

2000 marked the beginning of their college careers and thus put a damper on their plans. However they continued to write songs and practice when possible and in 2003 they reformed with a line-up change. Bret Ward decided to take on the roles as lead singer and frontman and pass the position of drummer to his brother Heath Ward.

The new VAIGAS started their own record label in 2004 called Rock Room Records and began to work on their very first album of original material entitled All Access. The album displayed a deep love and respect for high-energy, melodic rock and roll music shared by all four members. Songs like Angel No More, New Bad Habit, Last Train, and Thinking of You were praised by those who saw them perform live and also proved that VAIGAS had the potential to capture the ears of those who listen to them.

In 2005 VAIGAS continued to write and record on their own material and the result brought about three new recorded songs: Take A Chance On Me, Promise Worth Keeping, and Taste of Love. These songs show that VAIGAS could continue their unique combination of classic and modern rock and incorporate new ideas to help them to evolve.

After three years of constant writing and recording demos, VAIGAS decided to take the time in 2006 to show people what they could do in a live performance. With nearly five hours of original and cover material, VAIGAS delivered a flavor of high-energy rock and roll that many modern bands lack when performing live.

In Febuary of 2007 Milton Gore was added to the band. Soon after a new name was decided for the group "PYROMATIC".
