Please Do Not Fight
From the California Bay Area comes this upbeat indie rock act, known for their exciting live shows and quirky sound influenced by the likes of Death Cab For
Cutie and Weezer. Singer-Songwriter Zen Zenith writers music that reminds him of people he is fond of and lyrics about things that frustrate him. Featuring Zenith on guitar and vocals, Erin Keely on violin, keys and vocals, Beau Dorsett on bass, Geoff McCann on guitar, and Kubes on Drums, Please Do Not Fight blends huge Weezer blue-album power chords with Death Cab For Cutie indie rock sensibility.

While wielding an eclectic rock-based song writing style and voicing irked lyrics reflecting a discontentment with society, the group is also not afraid to embrace their pop-rock roots as is apparent in their recordings and live shows. Whether performing full-on rock shows or mellow and acoustic coffee-house shows Please Do Not Fight is unafraid to explore new ground. Known for performing different arrangements of their tunes appropriate to the venue and setting the band continues to be recognized for their layered song writing and their consistently energetic and heartfelt performances.

Accomplished musicians and performers, members of Please Do Not Fight have raised money for the Red Cross in support of Hurricane Katrina relief efforts, been featured in the Red Hot Chili Peppers music video 'Tell Me Baby' and studied at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, California. Their music video for "What Am I Trying To Save?", directed by 13-year-old Lizzy Arellano, won first place in the Greenlight Film Festival. Zen, active in the Bay Area Music scene since 1999, has founded Please Do Not Fight around a mission statement that includes strengthening and supporting local and global communities.

The group is currently working on new material and preparing for their Pacific Northwest Tour in support of their debut album, 'Leave It All Behind', now available on indie label Mega Ultra Records.
