I started out drumming as my main instrument when I was 15 in a band of 20 somethings who had already been together for years.They knew about 600 songs, so I was lucky enough to learn many styles and variations of rock and blues from guys that really knew their stuff. I was going to an arts high school at the time, the same school from which many Degrassi High kids went to in real life. My dad would drop me and my drums off at clubs and bars after supper, then pick me up afterwards.
At 19 I went to Sheridan college for media arts, started playing drums in hardcore band Elvis Manson. Toured for years,signed under producer Marc Berry.
1994 started my own and continuing project Pizzamind, where I recorded my own material playing all the instruments.
As my recordings started expanding, I began adding members to Pizzamind so that we could keep the tunes on the road.
Pizzamind started with me, grew, took on various lineup changes, and continues after many years of DIY and always will.
