The PIGMONEY story begins with a long line of authoritative oppression. For brothers Joe and Chance, there was no choice of a standard American lifestyle. Instead, the brothers were born into a life of overcoming adversity. The lyrics, written by the brothers, take the view point of what most people believe to be "wrong." "We are the voice of the Lost, the ones who must hide from society and bite their tongues in order to survive," says Chance. The bass player, Parks, who is crazy, helped the group develop the enormous sound heard today. Influenced by NIN, System Of A Down, Rage Against the Machine and Whitney Houston, the band successfully achieved the Rock/Pop sensation that is PIGMONEY.
