For Mar-yoi Collier, aka Muzika The Music Messenger, music and song writing is a great gift from GOD. And with great gifts come great responsibility. Quoting psalms 87:7 " As well the singers as the players on instruments shall be there: all my spring are in thee." Is a reminder of the honored duty to uplift and heal through music. Muzika has set out to fulfill the responsibility writing over 70 songs with timeless and inspiring messages that range from the topic of love to learning from your past.
Muzika has just recently returned to the music scene after a two year hiatus he had to take "to get used to being a single father. Caring for three sons required the break the longest gap from music I have ever taken out of necessity ". "Now I am forward with my babies on my back and my keys,guitar, and sax too." Taking this quote from his newest endeavor of 13 songs now in production called " Mental Freedom".
In 2001 Muzika set out to develop a new genre of music he calls Message Music. Having recorded 4 albums out of a 13 Volume seris called The Message Music Concept Albums.
'Mental Freedom' will be album number 5 of 13.
