While on a major label in Israel, the Mothers Anger's David 'Stitch' Rapaport witnessed a horrific terrorist attack; a suicide bomber exploded in the middle of a crowded coffee shop on Purim day (an Israeli holiday similar to Halloween).
He flew all over the world to forgive and forget before deciding to pursue his long time dream, to play music in the birth place of rock n' roll. He landed in NYC and spent what little money he had on a beat up 1973 Chevy van he literally called home. Within his outfit 'Mothers Anger' he toured relentlessly and played over 250 shows on 5 national tours across the states.

He was picked up by Dionysus records out of Los Angeles and released his nationally distributed debut album, which was produced by Michael Davis of the legendary Detroit band MC5. One year later, he had the great fortune of having Seattle icon Jack Endino (Nirvana, Soundgarden, High on fire) attend the last show of a seventy date tour. Endino loved the act and offered to work with the band on a new record. Unable to pass up this dream come true, Mothers Anger locked themselves in the studio for a week, resulting in the release of their second album, “Sniper.”

David had upgraded his guitar (to the Bi-tar) to create a unique sounding instrument that along with special tuning and amplification chain allows him to stitch the guitar and bass using one instrument. This has left sound men, musicians and audiences across the county with their mouths open.

In 2007, Stitch hooked up with Dallas native drummer Joseph Braley and percussionist Emilio Muniz of the Dallas band JointMethod. Together they are getting ready to record Mothers Anger's third release and just finished their sixth national tour in June 08.
