I have loved music my whole life. I Learned to play the drums at age 10. I was a night club DJ for most of my 20's. In my 30's I got Clean and sober. In my late 30's I had a band in South Texas. In 1997 I was in a wreck and hurt my back' and bought a guitar. I learned to play a little downloading tabs from Olga. I started writing songs not long after that. I'm a songwriter, and composer, and drummer. About a year ago I bought a bass and have been learnig to play that a little at a time. I am not a great musician but I keep playing and always will because it is what I Love the most. Recently I bought the things I needed to record my stuff in my own home. I currently have 8 songs recorded though the recording process is a learning exsperience and the first ones were a little rough. I made mistakes and hopefully I have learned from them and the later projects are of better quality. I write mostly rock n roll. I try to put my emphasis the words. the story if you will. Some one said write about what you know about. Well my stories are about me and whats happened to me in the past. My melodies are composed on the Gibson acoustic and are from the heart. I cant sing very good so hopefully people who listen to my songs will judge them by any other measure than vocals. I am not a singer as far as I am concerned but I have a gift and I keep on compossing songs.I am the only one playing on my recordings, I play all instruments you will hear and do all the vocals I have no outside help at all. Some of my songs are rather main stream and some are not. Some are R+B, and some are Gospel rock. I love both. I hope the songs I contribute will be liked it is for the people I give my music to that I do this for. God Love You All.

State of the Art, or Old School
I remember being at a concert in the late 70’s at the Dallas TX Cottonbowl. Pure Prairie League, Billy Squire, Pat Travers, Fleetwood Mac, and Rush. When Billy Squire attempted to play his hit single”Children of the Sun”. Now Children of the Sun, for you youngsters who don’t know the song, began with some electronic effects. Very cutting edge for the time. However Mr. Squire attempted his first start and the electronics malfunctioned. And so it was with the second, third and fourth attempts. Finally he played the song without the intro. My point is I am hearing a ton of stuff that is technically enhanced, especially vocals. Now I couldn’t do what I do with out effects so don’t misunderstand what I am saying here today. What I am saying is use as little as you can. If you can’t reprod...
