I am a singer/songwriter. I play rhythm guitar. Some of my favorite musicians are Elvis Presley, John Fogerty, Patty Loveless, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Sheryl Crowe, and Stevie Nicks. My dad taught me how to play guitar when I was about 12 years old. I have been writing songs since I was about 16. I use to sing in a band, but I am not in a band right now. I teach art to K-8th grade students. I just learned how to use Garage Band recording studio on my Apple laptop. I don't use a microphone I just sing into the built in mic on my laptop. I play the rhythm on my accoustic guitar while I sing and the vocals and guitar are on the same track. I add the pre-recorded drum beats, bass guitar and everything else using the Garage Band studio. I realize the production and mixing of my songs needs a lot of work. Sorry the production quality is not too good, but I am just learning how to use this.
