About Us,
We are a song-writing duo that shares a life-long passion for rock and roll. So, when we stumbled upon each other several years back, it would have seemed only natural for us to spew out rock, rock, and more rock. But the cosmos had different plans. From the get-go, it was always like something or someone else was in the studio with us, shepherding us in ever-changing directions. Our first efforts, for example, were two country tunes. One of them (a country-rocker about a chicken-wire bar, known as "Dan's Place") went right into regular rotation in a large Denver radio station, and the other (more traditional country) picked up a John Lennon Songwriting Award. That was a "double-jolt of freedom" that came at just the right time. Since then, the studio has become an infinitely large space where we feel completely free to go wherever the spirit moves us . . . country, gospel, jazz, reggae, blues, etc., and, of course, rock. In the process, all of it goes through incredible evolutions--sometimes launching from one genre and landing in another. Most interestingly, while most of our material truly seems to arise from out of nowhere, every time we finish a song, it feels like we've found an old friend.
