Starting off in the heat of the desert sun, LID has generated a sound that is hard to deny. Raw, you can taste the sand and the dust. The amps growl with KYUSS tones.
Vocals of early Alice In Chains and Pantera, Joe takes melodies and hooks to a whole new level. Joe Toth was drafted from Portland Or. Based band CEMENT.
Keeping true to their soul, and concentrating on music writing, LID has battled through alot over the years, very experienced with the studio, and the road. This is a well oiled machine. Russ spent his early years with WARFACE(Eugene, OR) Taking drumming to a whole new original level, never stop the frieght train. Unbelievable live shows, intimidates some of the best. Very minimal effects, just big fat drum sound. Rich is rounding up the three original members that started this machine.Growing up with influences like Carlos, and Jimi, the tones are being carried through in same Marshall style. The bass player position was originally held by Ric Brown, but Matt was found in the desert with a tone that matched his surroundings. LID is celebrating 13 years of creating music.
