Born and raised in Woodbury Kentucky, the sticks live true in most of Jon’s music. Before the age of five with butter knives on books, Jon found his timing, and joined band at age ten as a snare drummer, under the direction of the late great Larry Moore.............................................................................................. Thru high school, influences included all the 80’s fads with Rush, Zeppelin and Floyd ending his teens and broadening his perspective. Mimicking Neil Peart Licks became an obsession, as Pearts poetic justice puts music’s real power at work. After a spiritual revelation and a divorce, Jon released his love of song to Jesus. Learning to play acoustic guitar, piano, sing, and write in a 10 year period Jon found harmony and distortion while pursuing contemporary Christian music. Writing a lot, and playing out some would help stretch his voice and hone skills that certainly leaves an audience missing the connection they experience.....................................................................................................
