Jon Lase's bio:
John Neff was born July 11, 1975. At 8yrs. old John found his interest in music after watching a video on MTV feat: Run DMC & AeroSmith (Walk this way) and requested for his parents to buy RUN DMC's album. From that point on....he got interested in other artists, for example, Michael Jackson, GrandMaster Flash, Fat Boys, Big Daddy Kane, Mc Hammer, Getto Boys, Ice T, N.W.A, Slum Village, Ghetto Mafia. Rap music has been a part of his life for a very long time. As John got into his teens, he started getting into drums, guitar, singing & writing lyrics for songs. At the age of 19, John started a rock group called the Way Wood Youths. The group had their first television debut with Lou Paonessa for the Niagara Falls Firefighter Toy Fund December 7th,1996 and blew up the spot. The group continued to do shows at places such as The Fun House 1830 Abbott Road in Cheektawaga, NY, The Showplace Theatre 1063 Grant St. in Buffalo, NY & at The Evening Star on Niagara Falls Blvd in Niagara Falls. In 1998 the group had changed a couple of members and then changed the group name which formed Sylph, a heavy metal rock band. Sylph was unstoppable, and at some points....unstable. Sylph was successful and even achieved a record deal with Immortal Records, but never got to sign the contract. When John returned home from Santa Monica, CA, the group had a huge fallout and broke up. This was a huge dissapointment for John so he decided to quit music altogether out of fear he would never sign or even touch another record contract again. Luckily, John's love for music made him see that things happen for a reason. John's music background is mainly rap/hip hop. In December 2001, John got a job working at a local pizza shop called Pizza Express. This is where he met Frank Birmingham. Frank had asked John if he would be his manager. John told him he would think about and told Frank why he had to think about it. Frank was persistent and showed promise so John agreed to manage Frank. They worked with a number of producers, but could not find one who could get it right. John decided that he would be better off writing the music himself and Frank agreed. Moving forward, John decided to change things up a bit. He changed his name to a nickname given to him back in high school, "Jon Lase". Frank also changed his name to Lord Franks. In 2003, a group was formed called Lase Entertainment a rap/hiphop group reppin 716 Duc
City Niagara Falls N.Y. Jon Lase's strong will, talents & the drive for music/lyrics will keep the group moving toward a record deal and to continue to move onto bigger and better things.

{Reppin (716) Duc City Niagara Falls,N.Y.} Let me start by telling you who is in this group picture; (from left to right) Lord Franks and then me, on the right....the mastermind behind Lase Entertainment, Jon Lase. Lase Entertainment is a hip hop/rap group. We have been togather since 2002 an have been climbing the ladder to success. We had a new album come out on Oct 16th 2007, from our fans reviews, it is the best album yet. Believe me when I say "They couldn't wait to get their hands on it!" Awsome album!! >> Update: August 7th 2007 : As of July 20th 2007 Dem Hood Hard Hardy Boyz got in contact with us here at Lase Entertainment about going in on some collabs with them so we did jump in with tha Hardy Boyz. Right now we are workin togather on a new track called : Every Hustlerz Dream. Great track gotta hear it! Also as of August 10th 2007. We will be workin together with a company called: A & R Hits. They will be working on the promotion of Lase Entertainment. We have also made contact with Mac Deezo (give the man good respect) a great artist himself, so he will be jumping in on some collabs with Lase Entertainment. >> Update: As of 9/10/07 we added another person to our group .We will keep you informed with a stage name and more info as it comes.

>> Update 10/17/2007: Hot new collabz wit these great musicians,Hardy Boyz / R.I.O.(Niagara falls NY meets the United Kingdom the FIRST EVER for rap/hiphop coming out of Niagara Falls to the United Kingdom. R.I.O. was brought to our attention by Tina Ellis, Owner of Rise Up Promotions in FL. Tina has always looked out for Lase Entertainment and knew we'd make history for this area by bringing the US and UK together on a remix of "Ur Time Is Comin". There will be more collabs with R.I.O. & Lase Entertainment. Also DOH BOY$ / Jay Jizzle Hot remixs for the song: "Ur Time Is Comin"...The takeover has begun!!!
