About j*me
J*me
Who can describe J*me with such a diminutive amount of time. Whether a feel good "Raspberry Beret" track, or a sorrow drenched cut as "Eleanor Rigby"...J*me is only interested in writing great songs.
Originally from the Indiana/Chicago area, J*me is no run of the mill musician. Anyone who has simply bumped into him on the street or witnessed a full performance would emmidiately say..."Who was that?"....
J*me's musical footsteps can only keep fans guessing at what this whimsical genius will come up with next. Wherever the gypsy may be, he consistantly utilizes both guitar & piano as writing palates...taking full rein of most instruments when carving his own studio tracks.
From writing "Shelter"; the compelling song that Rolling Stone Magazine coined as "A stunning ballad" for Cheap Trick's most recent self-titled album, to a major spark of interest at Prince’s camp in Mpls...J*me's talent continues to soar in song writing and performances.
Initially signed to Atlantic/East/West with then President Sylvia Rhone, J*me’s major recording debut was never released due to....."Executive personnel restructuring". Despite the industry taking a nose-dive south in the last decade or so, J*me forges ahead with great song writing, leaving fans on ice and anticapting his next conceivable unfolding.
Word has it, J*me himself is on hold to write with Steven Tyler (per T's enthusiastic request). Again, it's all about the song writing.
As of now, J*me is entertaining a very strong initiative of putting together something that he describes as...
…"very diverse, very cool, and very special."
