20 year old aspiring rapper, J-Mass, lyrically proves that his style is more than an adequate to contend with the realms of the recording industry. Born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in Trenton, New Jersey and partially Bristol, PA, Mass has acquired the styles and swagger from the areas in which he has lived prior and incorporated them into clever wordplay and intellectual rhyme schemes.

Mass began his art at the age of 13 and has been excelling ever since. In his freshman year at his previous college, IUP (Indiana University of Pennsylvania) he started a mini studio in his own dorm and released: "IUP Mixtape Undaground Vol. 1" as well as making appearances at his college radio station for freestyles and interviews. The tradition of "IUP Undaground" mixtapes has been passed on to a trusted friend and continues up 'til this day.

His first studio recorded single: "Grown Persona" was recorded in 2006, while he was 18. The concept behind the song was a reminiscence of old school traditions and ethics. The single had no radio play as of yet, but it landed Mass an opportunity to perform at a local bar/club. Financial difficulties disable Mass' consistancy in recording but he continues to write raps and poetry nevertheless.

He now lives in Northeast Philadelphia, PA and is currently attending DeVry University in hopes of attaining his bachelor's in Business Administration.

Mass has two self-proclaimed aliases: Tha Truth N Tha Logikal & Da Lyricologist.
