I've been happily retired from the band scene for about 22 years, but, have now gotten the 'itch' again. I started Cuban Time Productions with Yoel Diaz & released 'Te llego'. Yoel went on to win the General Motors 'Grande Prix de Jazz' of the Montreal International Jazz Festival, as pianist/composer with the Alex Bellegarde Quartet.
While trying to get the rust chunks off my chops, a busy teaching schedule limits my time somewhat. I'm now forming a new group- 'Soul To Go', which will give me a chance to drag the old B3 out of mothballs. Cuban Time has another Yoel Diaz CD in the works, as well as some shows planned & hopefully a tour in support of whichever CD hits first.
