Tight Pocket Productions announces new album Los Angeles, CA – A new compilation of hip-hop gems is on the way from Tight Pocket Productions. “The Venom Saga Compilation Vol. 1 (Blak on Blak)” is set to hit the streets very soon. The kamp features such artists as S-Blak, Big Stowe, Re'zumae, and Yasin Farr . Songs range from big bangers to smooth seductions. S-Blak’s “Wassup Shawty,” the first single (featuring Re’zumae), is an example of the sizzling side of Tight Pocket Productions. The song’s sexually charged lyricism draws the listener into the hot world of male and female relations. The word flow finds perfect partnering in the slick melodies and hot grooves that give the tune just the right charge. “This single lets you know that the album is worth buying and listening to,” according to S-Blak of Tight Pocket Productions. I chose this particular song as the first single for the album because “when you hear the beat, it just moves you. But he’s quick to note that it’s just one facet of his music. “You would have to listen to all my music to get an understanding of how I am and what keeps me focused.” S-Blak has made extensive guest appearances on fellow rap artists’ songs and is making a play for breaking out into his own solo career with this compilation album. He’s already proven himself in live venues and his solo debut album is in the works. S-Blak is also busy putting together a CD with his partner in crime, Yasin Farr from Kenya. “We’re doing a project together titled The Foreign Policy Theory.” That album is slated for release in Dec. 2008. Farr is also featured on two tracks on The Venom Saga Compilation Vol. 1 (Blak on Blak) album. He says he found the motivation to complete the album not only from associates who helped with it, but also my lord and savior Jesus Christ, my family and friends, but also the “haters.” Their scorn, he says, only made him work harder.
