Carolina Commons - Just When I Thought
Higher Order Language - Holworks is Mark Holman, who shares the love of making music and has been since 1988. I hope it will lead me to other musicians who like a straight forward Rock-n-Roll idiosyncratic style of sharing feelings. At this very minute, I am hoping that I can make you forget about everything else except this brief excursion into my experiences. It is more than enough for me just to have you listen. Carolina Commons, the people, the places, and the events of a global city (Fayetteville, NC) thrust into the middle of Southern culture. Never the two shall mix but there is a lot to talk and sing about. Just When I Thought and Blue Opal (Band versions) are butterflies that have pupated from rug song caterpillars. Thanks go out to Andy Pow of Digital Waves Studios in Fayetteville, NC for mixing Just When I Thought, Blue Opal, Raise Your Arms, and the scratch guitar on Raise Your Arms. Anyone needing superior production should contact: Andy Pow Digital Wave Recording 127 Maxwell Street Fayetteville, NC 28301 910-867-9800

For Our Soldiers Making Neil Young's List and Beyond

118 out of 2599 songs after only two weeks? Hmmmmmm, . . .there are some folks listening to my tribute to the troops. I really appreciate it. I do not expect to go any higher but last week I was at 1500 or so. The week before that, I was a new entry. Thanks for the help MN. I do appreciate it. http://www.neilyoung.com/lwwtoday/lwwsongspage.html

Welcome to the site of Fayetteville, NC songwriter Mark Holman and Holworks - ASCAP artist 2008. I create music. You like this style of music? Let me hear from you. I have quite a few songs. I am attempting to and would love to discuss recording with a label. Reach me here. Carolina Commons, one of three life goals I set for myself so many years ago even though I could not play at all at the time. Why such an impossible goal? Simply to challenge me in an area that was a weakness and since has become a strength. Carolina Commons is so close to being complete. The final step is to have these songs recorded for media release. I haven't stopped there though. My friends who will help me are writing now. Together we are creating songs as a group that reflect all of the talents we have at our disposal. Believe me, that talent is quite substantial. So here we go labels - What Would You Say To Me? - Mark Holman ASCAP Artist - Holworks ASCAP Publisher
