OurStage

Groundspeak is a Memphis founded band that fuses together styles of all categories. Having been around for a little more than a year they have already played with acts such as Colonel Bruce Hampton and the Codetalkers, Garaj Mahal, and several local Memphis favorites such as The Grip and The Dempseys. Having four composers, a wealth of original music has been written as diverse as thier influences. With many of its members coming from jazz or rock backgrounds, the approach is exploration into the unknown. Groundspeak pulls from styles such as jazz, world, funk, electronic, singer-songwriters, country, avant garde, and reggae.
