Frank James - Wimberly Texas
As a youngster I started singing and playing a toy guitar by ear along with the country songs I heard on the family radio. Later, being left handed, I learned to play a right handed guitar upside down and backwards. About 35 years into my career I turned the strings around for a lefty. With a little determination and some encouragement from Tom Bresch, I learned to play guitar all over again.
My first paying gig was at a local honkytonk where I would occasionally play rhythm guitar for the band. The gig paid $5.00 a night and being underage, free Cokes. I migrated to Wisconsin in 1965 where I have played many opening acts, clubs, festivals, benefits etc.
I'm a professional country singer, BMI songwriter and Nashville recording artist with 45+ years in the music business. I have had the honor of working with many of country music's legends.
Throughout the years I have taken my career from backstage with Merle Haggard to center stage performing and accepting my own awards, to one of the top 10 finalists in USA Network's first Nashville Star competition in Orlando, Florida.

Just thought I would congratulate you on how well your song is doing. I'm not too far behind, but I don't think I'll catch you.
Anyway, if you need to delete this message due to image then I'll understand. I have alot of people that don't like what I say about their music.

Thanks for the very kind words you wrote in my comments section. I love your style and your original tunes are simply fantastic.
One of the fiddle players I used on my newest Cd was the fiddle player for Asleep At The Wheel for quite a long time. His name is Paul Anastasio. What a really great friend and musician. He was basically a "one take" guy in the studio.
Anyway Frank - keep doing what you're doing because you have such a great style and sound. You have please the ears of thousands of fans I'm sure!
Take care Frank ....
