Formed in 2005, Forgetful Jones is a diverse melting pot of sound, which is driven to make a change in music as we know it. Forgetful Jones is a Boston based group who combines a solid hard rock/metal foundation with strong elements of funk, reggae, and blues.
The lineup consists of Kenyatta Savage on vocals, Niles Tooher on bass, Jon Holland on guitars, and Matt Athanasiou on drums. These musicians have all had a strong presence in the Boston music scene for over a decade, as members of former bands “Fishbowl” and “Level Ride”. After the demise of previous projects this group of musicians banded together in aspirations of being able to create a musical entity with no limits or definitive style. The mission was to be able to blend many different musical tastes, sounds, and influences together to create something unique and individual.

Upon formation the fire was quickly ignited with consistent high octane performances, which quickly caught both music fans and members of the media’s attention. This has led to many significant performances, as well as spots at many premier venues in the northeast, and supporting roles with national acts. As well as the release of their debut album “The Album” released on Monkbam! Records in Feb. 2007.
