Foos is a four piece instrumental endeavor, incorporating elements of music ranging from jazz/funk stylings to metal. The experimental jamming nature of the band makes it the most unique (and makes for an interesting live show, too!).

Formed in early 2005, The band is Matt Woisin on Bass, Colin Turner on Keys, Sal Locascio on Guitar and Joe Friedman on drums and percussion. Foos hails from Long Island, NY, as did so many greats before them. Influences for the band stem from different musical upbringings and the stylistically different backrounds of its members. The eclectic musical makeup is the end result.

Foos' music can be captivating and beautifully ambient, and yet be powerful enough to make you steal money from your parents and start smoking behind the gym. Don't believe me? Take a listen and then go buy a pack.
